Behold The Jimny : can this be a good overlander?

The long awaited Suzuki Jimny is here in India by Nexa. The specs promise to make this a capable vehicle on any terrain. The pertinent question for us is: Will be a capable overlander?

It has to fill the boots of its older brother the gypsy and compete with the Mahindra Thar in the small 4x4 car space. We have seen a few overlanders who are solo or a pair use this class of cars to good effect.
